Honestly, I’m a little jealous of Lulu right now. It’s taken me a while, but I’ve come around on ole Logan. (This is especially easy because he is hot and Cooper is hardly on and doesn’t get a lot of lines.) Anyway, I know where this whole Cruel Intentions storyline is going and I’m not looking forward to it but I have been enjoying what I’ve been seeing over the past two weeks. The tattoos are a little hit or miss (much like Lulu, herself, quite frankly) but you had to swoon when Logan brought Lulu to his apartment for her private birthday party. (Which, by the way, wasn’t Logan’s door on the other side of the apartment when he got shot a few weeks ago? Or are there two doors like Carrie Bradshaw’s bathroom? If there are two doors, why does Logan get to live in a fully furnished apartment with paintings while Coop lives in a room above Kelly’s? They’re both on Sonny’s payroll.)
Anyway, how sweet was it of Logan to give Lulu a charm bracelet that they “could work on together”? I died. I’ve never really received anything from a guy except drinks, a few dinners and a stern lecture never to call them again so this obviously made my heart melt. I think it had the same effect on Lulu, but I’m not sure since he’s only her fourth suitor of the summer.
Moving on, how ridiculous are the Quartermains interrogating Lu Squared about Baby Jake? Granted I know its the Quartermains and I guess they’re supposed to be comic relief but do you really think your underage (or is she of age now?) house-guest is going to come clean to you that your wayward son is the father of her almost-nephew? Over a birthday blueberry muffin no less?
Speaking of Baby Jake, how fast do you think Ole Tank Tops McCall is going to run to Jason’s new digs (the interrogation room, natch) to talk about how she played for hours with his son while he watched Elizabeth bluster her way through another day of interrogation?
Finally, how long is Tracy going to be in the asylum. Are they just going to hold her there for collateral until Luke brings her back? What does she do all day besides speak to Alan? Does she actually see a therapist or arts and crafts or does she just run around in Nehru jackets from the Andre Dimera Collection?
I love the Lu^2. I think she and this Logan boy are great. Although, I have to admit – what the fuck with his apt? My shit isn’t that great and I’m 27?! Oh, and I saw a commerical for Night Shift, looks like Maxie is having another “heart” episode. Which happens, oh, every three months.
