You’re right on the lack of talking, however, I think that where Sam’s strength is flailing around with her arms, Jason’s is more looking at people like they’re idiots, which he perfects day in an day out with Spinelli, Sonny, Carly and most recently Lucky. There’s nothing I love more than a talk show host that clearly hates his job and the people that he’s talking to, or in Jason’s case, staring at with a look of disdain.

The other problem with Jason as the host of Everyday Heroes is his general lack of talkiness. Don’t get me wrong, it’s an asset in everything else – and makes me hate him less than Sonny and Carly despite the killing because they never shut up – but not so great in a TV show host.

If Jason’s not a saint, he’s certainly a superhero, and his super power is “shutting up and letting everyone else talk themselves into holes”.
