In the past few months, we’ve lost Emily Quartermaine, Georgie Jones, and Stan Johnson on General Hospital and John Black on Days(although apparently, that didn’t keep). While the loss of these characters could be considered tragic, what I’m most angry about is the unfortunate recasting of Belle and Shawn’s daughter Claire. Why God, why? The twins that played Claire were awesome and were eclipsed only by the young actor who plays Morgan Corinthos in terms of sheer boredom on set.
These poor girls have had to endure horrible bows and headbands and acting with Brandon Beemer and how are they rewarded? By being fired. It’s horribly tragic. Do you know how much I loved to watch Claire have a total fit in Belle’s arms? It’s obvious that at least one of the twins totally hated her and I personally enjoyed it. Now what I am going to do? Ciara seems to enjoy being with Bo and Hope so that does me no good. I’m also afraid that if Claire keeps her rapid aging on track she’ll be Will’s age by summer, because Salem needs a teen set y’all!

Look on the bright side. Now we get to see the ridiculousness that is Belle lugging around this fully grown child everywhere she goes. Because God forbid a kid be allowed to walk on her own two legs in Salem!
I know! I’m reminded of when Angelina used to carry a four year old Maddox everywhere! Or Katie Holmes and Tom Curise toting Suri.
