But what does this mean for Michael Kors?

Project Runway is just swirling around like the perfect storm this week.  First, they announce that they’re moving to Lifetime (a decision I don’t support; look, I like The Golden Girls (sidenote, now moving to The Hallmark Channel), bad women-in-peril movies, and Supermarket Sweep but Project Runway belongs on Bravo), then NBC/Bravo is going to sue them, and now Nina Garcia is out at Elle magazine.  I like to imagine that her bosses at Elle made her parade up and down a catwalk on Friday morning (because you know there’s a catwalk at the Elleoffices) and then brought in Heidi Klum to tell her she’s out, all in a delightfully, sing-songy German accent. Poor Nina, I really did like her.  She just seemed more accessible than Anna Wintour, plus she makes these great “wtf” faces that I appreciate as a viewer.

What’s next?  Is my beloved Michael Kors going to jump ship and judge for America’s Next Top Model or design for Chanel?  Will they continue to force feed Christian down our throats?  My God, he’s everywhere: Make Me a Supermodel, Miss USA, Ugly Betty, opening up a Target in Decatur, Georgia, etc, etc.  See, this is why Project Runwayshould remain on Bravo: they love the reality concept so much and they’ll greenlight anything that you know they’d put up the money to follow Nina around on her job search.  Here’s Nina interviewing at Cosmopolitan, there’s Nina trying to start something at Seventeen, here’s Nina singing behind the counter at Cold Stone Creamery.  That’s a ratings winner right there.
