Just a Simple Girl with a Dream

I broke my rule yesterday in terms of writing about “The New 90210″ and I’m back at it again today because Jennie Garth has apparently skipped the light fantastic out of her new pilot.  She’s also allegedly up for a role in this new Rob Thomas produced 90210 update, once again playing Kelly Taylor, only now she’s a fashion design teacher at West Beverly.  Tell me, people, does that make a lick of sense to any of you?  If anyone was going to be a teacher at West Bev, it would be Zuckerman.  It would make more sense, especially considering her advanced age and propensity to wear high wasted khakis and vests made everyone think she was a teacher anyway.  I just don’t get how they’re going to explain KT as a teacher.  Did her trust fund run out?  Is she down and out in Beverly Hills?  Has she married and divorced Dylan?  Again, isn’t this more of a Tori Spelling thing?  People, she wants a role in the show and she’s a genius at self promotion.  For the love of God, give the girl a part!
