So the trend of using two to three sets per day continues at Days of Our Lives. Today is Earth Day, but I think it may actually be Salem Health Club Day because everyone and their co-host from The Biggest Loser was there. What the hell was that? I was embarrassed for all parties in this madness. On the plus side, it distracted us from Chelsea and The Healthcare Crusader. In the negative column, it subjected us to the acting genius that is Jillian Michaels as Maggie’s trainer. I guess Maggie has to hit the gym due to the rapid de-aging of her husband.
So how long do you think it will be before Phillip and Morgan are officially a couple? Of course, they’re all over the gym, too and why wouldn’t they be? Phillip is a Greek shipping heir (or something), shouldn’t he have his own private gym? Then there’s Morgan, isn’t there a health club on campus? Maybe they just want to work out at the same place that Maggie does. She’s quite the trendsetter, don’t you think?
So I’ve read some spoilers that Ross the Intern from The Tonight Show is going to show up as a gym patron as well, which means that we’ll be held hostage to this set for God knows how long. How many random NBC personalities are they going to parade through Salem? I half expect Ann Curry to appear on the treadmill next to EJ and tell him “Good morning, good morning, in the news this morning, good morning!”

I’m surprised by how much we are getting of Philip and Morgan. I have to admit I’m liking them but there is this part of me that wanted Nick to let Morgan lick his wounds after Chelsea breaks his heart.
LOL on Ann Curry.
There is a part of me that wants Rue McClanahan to show up as Morgan’s grandmother and Paul’s mother. Hello! Her name is Blanche Hollingsworth!
4 more, Nu-Nu….
3 more Gi-Gi….
2 more Ju-Ju….
And–relax! Cool down, cool down, everyone, in the gym this morning, cool down!
