I am so excited about Wednesday’s Days of Our Lives because…wait for it…Chelsea and Daniel go on a date to Chez Rouge! (Clearly I am lying.)
People, this could be the most iconic moment in Days history since Bo kidnapped Hope from her wedding to Larry Welch back in the Eighties. How romantic for a forty-something doctor to take his young, college-aged former patient to her ex-boyfriend’s aunt’s quaint, quasi-French restaurant. I am practically squeeing from jealousy! (I am actually quite nauseous.)
Now I know it’s summer where a lot of the stories are relegated to the “younger crowd” but when the “younger crowd” stories involve Daniel, “The Once and Future Teenager” courting Chelsea and Max’s quest to piss off Roscoe Born, I yearn for the days of Shelle’s adventures at The Last Blast (again, I’m lying, but still). Here’s another thing: whenever Morgan comes on, does anyone else get distracted by her earrings?
I know, I loathe Chan. LOATHE THEM! As much as the rest of the show is annoying me including MadMax, I could take it all so much easier if they would end Chan.
But they aren’t. They are going forward with teh couple. Apparently the show realizes the couple isn’t being accepted the way they had hoped so they might change tactics with them however they are still going full steam ahead.
Meanwhile? Not really a love interest for Nick in sight!!
Yeah I don’t get where Dena and co got the idea that featuring the younguns in summer would bring viewership way up. Last summer didn’t teach them anything? Shelle hell in Tinda Lau? TTS?
I can’t stand Chan and the only thing keeping me going is the thought/hope that maybe Daniel and Kate hooked up and that’s why they’re acting so weird. I’d love to see Chelsea get crushed.
I feel like Bo was speaking for me (and the audience) in Wednesday’s show. Bo, people! God love Bo, but we’re not always on the same page, but on Chan, we see eye to eye.
Yes, Tripp, I don’t get why Nick has no love interest but instead is saddled with propping Emmy Nominated Damon Books. And yes, NoleBucGrl, I hold out hope that Kate slept with Daniel. Honestly, why wouldn’t she have? She’s slept with everyone else in town.
