I am going to LA this weekend for a wedding and I called my friend, JMTIV, earlier in the week and asked him to pick up some Chin Chin and have it waiting for me when I arrive. I love Chin Chin chicken salads, they’re the best! Apparently Tori loves it as well as Mehran totally brought her some to eat in bed. Then JMTIV totally calls me and is all “Speaking of Chin Chin, did you see Tori and Dean?”
I would also like to point out that thanks to this show, I spent twenty minutes on candyspelling.com. Candy Spelling cracks me up because she writes all those “letters of truth” on TMZ and blogs on The Huffington Post and has a gift wrapping room. She’s so multi-facseted, yet I doubt she will ever appear on this show. She does have sections on her website about Aaron, Randy, Liam and Stella, yet there is no section about Tori. Interesting. She does, however, have a link to an article she wrote about how Christina Crawford totally screwed over her mother’s legacy with Mommie Dearest. Also interesting.
Speaking of Tori’s family, I really like Uncle Danny. He just looks so adorable and friendly. How cute is it that he has all the shells? Seeing his shell shack reminded me of WALL-E with all of his treasures. (Love WALL-E!)
Did anyone else want to know how well Tori’s jewelry did on HSN? I was curious to see final figures. I also thought that Mehran would have appeared with her. I guess he’s her business manager, but they have a great rapport. They totally should have been on together. In fact, I think this show could be called “Tori and Mehran” and I would still watch it (let’s be honest…Mehran is way more interesting than Dean).
The highlight of this episode was, of course, the tour bus ride to San Francisco with a special lunch break in Pismo Beach. (Okay, you know I was a teenager in the late Nineties because I can’t think of PB without saying to myself “I’m captain of the Pismo Beach Disaster Relief Fund!”) I don’t really enjoy road trips as a rule, but I would love to ride somewhere all decked out in a tour bus eating fried foods with my closest friends (and hired driver). Bonus points if I was going somewhere where people would pay to read a book that I wrote. Bonus bonus points if that 90210 super fan showed up with fifteen years of memorabilia (how crazy was that? Even Tori looked exasperated.)
Next week: Still pregnant, still on tour, still renting.
