Double the Fun

I’ve been out of town for the past few days so imagine my horror when I saw this headline: Hall to Play Doc’s Twin in a “Drugged State“.

Was it wrong (or totally practical and logical) that my first thought was: “Oh great, so she’s going to traipse around cooing and moaning in tandem now?”  Secondly, how choice was that quote about how DH likes to watch Drake rehearse his new “John Black”?  Just call me Marie Osmond, because I’m not buying it.  Granted, I love the New John Black.  He’s like the New Jan Brady, only with better hair and more cigar smoking.  With that being said, he’s a long ways away from the Old John Black which I know is troubling to a lot of viewers, particularly John and Marlena fans.  Honestly, though that’s why I enjoy him.  Anyone who gives it back to Doc can sit in the back of the room and talk shit with me.

I think it’s going to be for only a couple of days (Yea I know, one extra day is too many) but I was worried it would be a lengthy part.

I was horrified when I first heard that spoiler, because double DHer is just doubly terrifying. Also I was really mad that they were going to bring back yet another dead character. Thankfully it’s a dream or hallucination or whatever because some deaths should never be undone (particularly deaths that give Marlena more time on my screen, hehe).

As for John, yes, I love NuJohn and I don’t want the old one back ever. I know one of these days a spoiler will come about him getting his memory back and all the joy will be sucked out of me. Meanwhile I’ll enjoy and wish I could hang with him snarking on the “good” people of Salem.

See, when I first read that headline I read it as DH taking drugs in order to play her sister, not Marlena seeing her sister while the character was in a drugged state…

Ha! That’s too funny! I know that Stefano allegedly drugs her, but I would rather it be like some Alice in Wonderland scenario where Marlena smokes out of a hookah while sitting on a mushroom and her twin sister appears playing croquet with flamingos.
