Baby-sitting with Stefano Dimera

Call me a sap, but I enjoy any scene where Stefano is with small children.  Or maybe you would call me a lunatic as she is clearly insane, but I think somewhere, deep down, he’s a loving father.  (Maybe.) Now Stefano isn’t the Daddy, Don’t Drop Me-type, he cares more about teaching his grandchildren classics like The Prince and The Art of War.  Maybe he was on to something the other day when he offered to fly in an Autism specialist for Theo.  Unlike Lexie, I’m sure Steffie wouldn’t mind watching Theo spin the wheels on his toy truck all day.  I think he’s just enjoy someone spending time in the same room with him whose name isn’t Rolfe.

  1. I wondered if they were gonna bring Stefano in during the autism story. Of course, Stefano was never shown to be close to Theo at all.

  2. I admit it, I loved Steffy with the twins. I thought it was hilarious that he was reading them a story about emperors. I also thought it was funny that Johnny reached over to take a toy from Allie and she yanked it away. She is her mothers child! hehe

I’d love for Steffy to get involved in the autism story. One, it would make it interesting. Two, I’d like to see him have to embrace a grandchild that could be seen in his own eyes as “weak”. Not saying that he is, just that I would expect Stefano to think so. Third, how cool would it be if Theo and Steffy bonded and Abe had to deal with that? Hilarity!

  3. I think Stefano should take the East Wing he lives in now and open up a fully licensed and bonded day care. And yes, Theo and Stefano should bond just to annoy Abe so he can turn into Rage! Abe, Lexie will turn to some random new guy for comfort and then Rage! Abe will kick his ass. Good times!

  4. [...] still loving Stefano as Baby-Sitter/Professor of History.  Granted his choice of reading materials and trips to the cemetery are a little unorthodox, but [...]
