Some thoughts about Sonny and Kate’s almost wedding-
- Color me unimpressed by Kate’s dress. I can’t remember if this was “The Federico” or “The Maha Chang” but I found it rather dull. Why couldn’t she have just commissioned a Chris March dress made entirely out of human hair? Or one that possessed bullet proof panels?
- For always being the last man standing, Sonny is surprisingly ineffectual around gunshot wound victims. You think he’d know how to deal with them by now!
- I hope Jax called Brenda at some point during the evening and said something like this: “remember how devastated you were when Sonny left you at the aisle? Well you dodged a bullet…literally.” Rimshot!
- I love that a shot rang out and everyone stood up (except for Maxie, who just looked mildy annoyed). Did no one see the Moldavian Massacre? Everyone needs to hit the ground.
- What was Claudia’s bubble dress all about? She looked like she spent all day getting ready for Ric to take her to the Goth Prom, sponsored in part by Hot Topic.
- I wish Lulu would realize that death and destruction will follow her wherever she goes in Port Charles and she should move somewhere far away like Pine Valley.
- I’m so glad the real reason Robin couldn’t attend this most blessed nuptials was because foreshadowing dictated that the wedding party would eventually come to her.
- Do you think that Kate can get an ajoining room next to Michael at the longterm care facility?
- Why did I feel saddest for Mike? He closed Kelly’s for this!
- How awesome was Monica today? You’d hardly remember that she’s a marginalized drunk with a rap sheet.
- I actually felt sorry for Liz today, being stood up at the airport. I guess it’s because I’ve been stood up so many times myself; although never at the airport on the way to Italy. By the way, were they really only going to go to Italy for the weekend or however long Lucky’s camping trip is?
Ha, that would be one short trip, get there, land, turn back around. Yay Italy! My parents just went there and I think it took something like 13 hours. Soap travel is so much better.
I thought Kate’s dress was ok but Olivia’s bothered me. One shoulder strap? I guess that’s gaining popularity but it always makes me think of The Flintstones.
Lulu’s ability to make everything all about her is really admirable. At some point you just have to stop being amazed by it I guess, but I’m not there yet.
