It’s not been the best week for me and to add insult to injury, today I forced myself to watch two episodes of General Hospital.
It is still the same day. Or maybe it’s early the next day. All I know is that most everyone is still stuck in the hospital, either dying, wandering around in scrubs, or brandishing guns. Patrick checks up on Leyla who is flat-lining. Great. Just when I was getting to like her, she dies. Sadly, Leyla’s dying isn’t even about Leyla. It’s really all about Patrick who sulks in front of the Nurses’ Station. Always one to kick a person when they’re down, Epiphany pipes up that Leyla was engaged. Coincidentally her betrothed shows up to the hospital…although I’m not really sure how he got in seeing as Sam and Jason keep telling people that no one can get in or out under penalty of death.
Speaking of Sam, not only is she continuing to wear acid washed jeans, but she’s also a grief counselor now as she’s taken Leyla’s beau under her wing. I pray to God we don’t see another reality show in her future. Jason, meanwhile, is bopping around letting Monica know that he’s on the right side of the law this time. As if Jason is ever on the wrong side of anything. I mean, isn’t Jason clutch in any situation? Oh, except when he’s being held hostage and gets shot by Sam. Oops! Is anyone else concerned about how long Sam’s going to have to atone for this one? She spent like a year crying about Jake’s kidnapping, she’ll be in Jason Purgatory for at least another six months for this one.
Elsewhere, Johnny and Maxie almost give into their self destructive tendencies and consummate their non relationship in a chop shop. Awesome. I’m really over Maxie going on and on about how she’s going to eventually hurt Spinelli. Um, already happened. Multiple times. He always comes back. Deal with it. Then Johnny thinks Lulu will leave him. Why is this a problem?
Randomly, there’s a toothy Australian in town who may or may not be the son of Jax…or Jay Leno. It’s times like this I miss Coop.
Hee, TwoP has taken to calling him Teethan. I absolutely love that name, best thing about GH these days.
How hilarious was it when Sam shot Jason? His face cracked me up.
I never liked Leyla, even tho I appreciated her becoming less annoying when she was on the backburner. Still, see ya. hehe
I think Sam shooting Jason is almost as good as John slamming Marlena into the door.
