After what seemed like an eternity, Hope was reinstated as a police officer. I’m pretty psyched, if only for the reason that Hope is, without a doubt, the best cop in the entire city. It would have been interesting for her to go into the PI business with Steve, but since he and Kayla were axed in favor of younger, more annoying characters, I guess I’ll settle for the Force. Was anyone surprised that at no time during Hope’s fall from grace did she decide to give up law enforcement and go into jewelry design? I have to applaud her for that, because I’m pretty sure if General Hospital’s Jason Morgan had to leave the mob and go into witness protection, his cover would be Monavie Salesperson.
Since I’ve given up reading spoilers (I’m going only on Bo’s visions, y’all!) I’m kind of hoping that Hope starts something up with Rafe. What am I talking about? I love Bo and Hope! It’s just that they’ve been happy for exactly five minutes so something horribly out of character has to happen immediately. Honestly, why can’t Bo and Hope just be happy solving crimes? I don’t subscribe to the Happy Couple=Boring dynamic. Look at Angelina and Brad. If you ignore whatever In Touch has to say, they’re pretty damn happy to be together. Maybe Days can take a page from their playbook: Bo will start wearing awful hats, Hope will become a circus-level knife thrower and they’ll travel to Europe (the only place that exists outside of Salem) adopting children and making passive/aggressive comments about Billie. Everyone wins!
Hee…yeah, well I have seen some spoilers and…well…there are no words. And that’s all I will say about that!
Like you, I would like Bo & Hope to just be left as a happy couple doing happy couple things. It’d be a nice change for them, a new story if you will!
I loved how Hope’s reinstatement was announced casually in the pub, place where all police work seems to go down. And of course her appeal was unknown to her, that’s how that works. Ugh.

Yeah, I know times are tough, but I hate the Brady Pub as the epicenter of everything. Although it makes more sense for police buisness to go down in the Pub as opposed to Chez Rouge or the Salem Health Club.
Oh and what’s up with Aniston and John Mayer breaking up again? Was it the braid?
