A dream of mine is to one day be able to go to Spain. Hopefully, I’ll get there and when I do, I expect to see trained professionals dancing the paso doble to Heart. Because when I think of the dance that represents the bullfight…I think “Baracuda”. In fact, I can picture Hemmingway kickin’ it in to that song while penning The Sun Also Rises. I have to give the folks up in Music Clearance credit though, they could have gone with “What About Love” or as I refer to it: “the one where Ann welds”.
Just when I thought we were past the whole “Gilles is the naked guy from the Sex and the City movie” thing, he’s shirtless in the Paso. Really, Maks? He seems like a nice guy and all but I blame him for Samantha breaking up with Smith Jerrod, aka the only blonde guy I’ve found hot in my entire life. True confession: I have a hard time separating minor SaTC characters from their portrayers in real life. Hell, I’m pretty sure that’s why I’m Team Giselle in the whole Brady/Bridgette/Model triangle.
Of course maybe I’m biased because I’m pulling for Melissa. I have to, I’ve followed her through three reality shows now. She’s like my child at this point (much in the same way that apparently Lil’ Kim is Carrie Ann’s daughter). Plus I keep getting page views from all the people that come here to know what her tattoo says (“True Love”). This was a tough night for her–the choreography was challenging and she was dressed like my circa late-Eighties Spanish Barbie. I feel for though on the smiling. God knows I go through life with a permanent smile on my face–not because I’m overly perky, I’ve just been cursed with big teeth, small lips and limited access to collagen. Stay strong, Melissa!

And then Nancy pops out of the mold–she’s the guitar girl made of gold!!!!
…perfect for Cameron Crowe!
