You would think that a wedding involving blackmail, a mob hit and multiple paternity issues would be exciting but Nicole and EJ’s ceremony is falling flat. Let’s start with the guest list, shall we? For allegedly being the end all, be all of Salem weddings, it doesn’t seem like very many people bothered to show up. I’m sorry, but when your front row includes the pediatrician/black market baby dealer whose blackmailing you, you might be the town pariah. Then there’s the wedding party which includes Stefano and Chloe. I can’t wait to see those professional portraits. Was Lucas even there? I know that he hates the groom and the bride is his ex-wife, but still. Escort your wife to the wedding, knock back some cocktails and get a slice of red velvet cake to go.
Meanwhile, on a sidewalk across town (or somewhere) Sami is struggling to push her stroller to get to the church on time. I’ll be honest, I’m down to watching approximately 2.5 episodes a week, but I don’t really understand why Sami is all about revealing that EJ is Grace’s Sydney’s father. I always felt that our lives were being wasted with the witness protection subplot but to celebrate it like this? It’s just wrong.
Now for something completely different: was anyone else weirded out by the open window in Stephanie and Phillip’s hotel room? I kept thinking the assassin was going to swing in there, Bourne Identity-style.

Hee, on Bourne Identity style. Aren’t normal open windows a means for someone to overhear/eavesdrop/spy on the outside?
It’s a shame that Days never has real, HAPPY weddings anymore. Just two people who are madly in love, and have overcome numerous obstacles are finally getting their payoff.
I didn’t watch the episode and I wasn’t even sorry. A wedding involving what used to be my favorite character and I didn’t watch. I was home too, just preferred watching Veronica Mars Season 2 instead. Goes to show just how far and fast my love for Days has gone. Oh well!
