Is everyone on pins and needles like I am wondering if Michael Corinthos III is going to wake up? I’m guessing (SARCASM) that he will since they recast the actor. Because if he was going to stay in a coma, I’m sure we’d be treated to a random extra’s legs under a blanket for the end of time.
Speaking of random extras, Kate made an appearance this week! You remember Kate; Sonny’s one time love interest and fashionista with the broken business model of running a Vogue-ripoff out of a hotel in Port Charles. I was over Kate a long time ago, but I can’t deal with her hard as nails attitude. I don’t care how The Devil Wears Prada this show thinks it is, but not all women, and certainly not all women in fashion, have to behave like ice queens. Of course she’s threatening to fire Lulu and Maxie again. At this point, I wish she would, fly back to Manhattan, hop on the jitney and take a long, long vacation in The Hamptons. She’s been shot twice in 18 months; she deserves it.
What bothers me most about Kate is that while she’s been reduced to a glorified dayplayer, Olivia is still in full effect. There’s definitely a Whatever Happened to Baby Jane quality about them which makes me wish that Kate would have stayed in a wheel chair longer. In all honesty, Olivia bugs more than Kate? Know why? Because Olivia has this gross desire to be buddy buddy with everyone in town while simultaneously “keepin’ it real”. Oh and does she live in Sam’s apartment now?
