I need to process a lot of what went on in the Lost finale but here are my burning questions:
- Is Richard a Lancome man or an Estee Lauder fan?
- Why wasn’t Juliet (or anyone in her family) dressed period-appropriate for her flashback? At least throw some jellies on her or something.
- The beginning flashback with Jacob–was I the only one expecting Chris Atkins and Brooke Shields to wash ashore?
- As referenced by my title, the lack of medical attention to Sayid was an epic fail. At least poor Jin had the sense to try to stop the bleeding while Sawyer and Jack having it out in the jungle. Of course, Juliet just sat there too. I guess she must have been wearing her invisible “I’m just in the Motor Pool” hat that day.
- Jack looked like a Ghostbuster with the Dharma jump suit and backpack.
- Speaking of backpacks, of course Young Kate had to be wearing one in her flashback!
- What was the point of Reiko Aylesworth on this show? I so wanted her to be an Other on the down low. Or interesting.
- How “Captain Miller in Saving Private Ryan” was Jack during The Incident?
- Why must Kate make it out of every situation unscathed? Damn you, Freckles!
- Why do all the doctors know how to fire guns? Is it a required course in med school?

The three of us watching in my apt felt the same thing – why the hell isn’t Jack helping Sayid?! I guess it’s because he was a lost cause? Apparently stomach wounds are the worst. I sorta expected them to show some of his insides on the outside, but I forgot this isn’t House.
You know, I think that Jack has gotten some experience in the past three years firing guns. But you’re absolutely right that he shouldn’t be THAT GOOD.
The beginning, besides the clothing, seemed so modern. I couldn’t even connect it with being in the time period of the ship. I guess God and the Devil are kept separate from trends.
Richard = MAC cosmetics. You know he’s gonna pull some bright blue eyeliner one of these days!

Well, said! Foxy and Blondie got a pass on the medical help. When a bomb is in the offing, nobody seems that committed to their previous jobs. But I love that Juliet got her It’s Shake N Bake And I Haelped ala Charlie moment. My girl detonated an H-bomb with a rock!!
Yeah, Backpack has always been bad news. I hate that everything revolves around her approval, and her pull on the gents. She will never not bug me.
I think Richard is a Wet N’ Wild man. Unless he’s so old school he uses Cleopatra ash. I’m not far off-base, that statue was holding an Ankh!!!!
Everyone’s ages on Lost are so messed up to me because they’ve been in the same set of years for well…years.
Why am I really afraid that any appearance by Juliet next season is going to be relegated to one of those “smoke moster/vision quest” things?
